新宿ホコ天、HUB、Sketch outing

なぜか、1月、2月と同じ服装でも3月の柔らかな光の中の方が我慢できない寒さを感じてしまう、寒いならちゃんと寒い方がむしろ体がポカポカしなきゃと頑張ってくれるような気がします。そんな中、うすら寒い日であったけれど大勢が集まったUSK Japanの定期スケッチ会。歩行者天国の様子をそれぞれの視点、タッチで描いてみると、やはりそれぞれ面白い魅力があるものです。



















２時間の屋外スケッチの後は早々にHUBに避難するように向かい、そこでゆったりとDrink and Drawの時間となりました。たくさんスケッチ道具を携えていったのですが、結局その日は小さいサイズ２枚を描いて自分は終了としました。

3月の定例スケッチ会は新宿で行います。集合場所の世界堂に面する新宿通りは日曜午後、歩行者天国になりますので、行き交う人々で賑わうを街をスケッチしましょう。雨天の場合は新宿の地下通路に場所を変更します。無数に広がる地下道を歩きまわって描くのも楽しいはず。
特に決まったスケジュールはないので、数時間スケッチしたあとは自由解散。流れでDrink&Drawを行うかも？

We have March's Urban Sketch Meet-Up at Shinjuku. Shinjuku-dori Street, which Sekaido faces, is closed to cars and turned into a pedestrian paradise on Sunday afternoons. Let's draw the busy Shinjuku street and people walking by. If it rains, we will sketch the Shinjuku underground passages. Would be fun to explore the passageways spreading all over under the central Shinjuku.
We don't have a fixed schedule this time. We'll sketch for a few hours and then perhaps have a Drink&Draw session if you want?
