Primary colors use experimentation recap

I compare primaries with Stephen Quiller ( Prussian Blue, Quinacridon Rose, and Bismuth Yellow) , which I bought in Chicago, and HWC (Cadmium Deep Red, Royal Blue, and Cadmium Yellow Lemon). Both are my favorite brands. But this time I dare tried different types of combination to see how different the result will become. So my intention is not to compare the brands, but the difference in results in different combination of primaries.

I sketched same place at same day with almost same procedure.



The former combination has more transparency, harmony ( just like cyan, magenta, and yellow) while the latter combination shows the red is too yellowish and doesn’t go with Royal Blue when to make clean violet.
